After Edward Wormley … Read more Bedside chest with four drawers by Milo Baughman for Drexel's New Precedent collection of the early 1950's. After Edward Wormley designed the original Precedent collection in 1947 he went to work for Dunbar as their Design Director. So Drexel hired Milo Baughman to come in and add new pieces to the very successful collection, and these were introduced as the "New Precedent" collection.

This nightstand is very similar to the Wormley version, with the same dimensions and combination of elm and beech. The main difference is that it features long, sculped wood pulls, rather than the brass-tone pulls. Marked inside upper drawer and on back. See less
