For an ultra-elegant lunch for two.
For salad, tapas, and of course asparagus and artichokes.
Regarding the mark, these beautiful and rare plates have been produced between 1894 - 1934.
Introduced into France for Queen Catherine de Medicis, who was fond of it, the artichoke acquired its letters of nobility by becoming one of the favorite dishes of Louis XIV.
Like for asparagus, renowned manufacturers have dedicated part of their production to them.
The small serving dish measures 8" long and can be used for bread or lemon for example. This piece has an attribution mark,
