Beautiful, rare Philips floor lamp designed by the Philips design team led by Louis Kalff, with the model name NX38. Sleek and minimalist, yet with an eye for detail. The hole in the center of the shade allows light to shine upwards as well, creating beautiful illumination of the room. According to the Philips Philora catalog, it is intended for a mirror-head bulb. The white plastic diffuser beneath the shade creates a very pleasant, diffused light under the lamp.
