Bird Cage, Made in Italy, 1950s. Beautiful and Elegant Bird Cage made in Italy around the 1950s. This cage features a very elegant dome design. There are two hinged opening doors and a third up-and-down opening. The frame is made of aged metal with a charming patina and meticulous workmanship that reflects the attention to detail typical of early 20th century craftsmanship. Inside are five wooden perches, and at the base is a steel-lined wooden binder for collection. It is recommended to view the images at their maximum to appreciate the many details from which the great quality of execution can be seen. Condition is excellent, may show slight signs of time due to age and use.
