Designs from this period, though less recognizable than Scandinavian designs, are distinguished by excellent ergonomics and a well-thought-out, light form – and this is clearly evident in this model.

The structure is made of beechwood, which ensures stability and durability while also allowing for sleek, elegant lines. Characteristic features include gently splayed legs and smoothly curved armrests that flow smoothly into the backrest. The overall impression is light but not fragile – this is a piece of furniture designed for everyday use.

The wooden elements were renovated, consisting of stripping off old coatings and refinishing with oil. The aim was to preserve the natural, light and warm color of the beechwood. The seat and backrest were reupholstered in a beige, bouclé fabric. The upholstery foam was also replaced.

The style of these armchairs can be described as mid-century modern, with a clear influence from the Polish school of design in the 1960s – more understated than their Danish counterparts, yet equally functional. The proportions are very well-balanced: the low, wide seat and appropriately reclined backrest promote comfort while also giving the design a distinctive, relaxing character.

What truly works in this model's favor is its ease of use and versatility. The armchairs provide good back support, and the armrests are at a height that makes sense for everyday sitting. Thanks to their compact dimensions, they work well in both living rooms as classic lounge chairs and in more intimate spaces where every centimeter counts.
