This mid century highboy dresser by American of Martinsville has seven drawers and Chinoiserie-inspired detailing. Three small drawers with brass knobs run across the top above four wide drawers fitted with brass pulls. The tall chest of drawers has a light, warm wood finish with paneled sides, and it rests on a black lacquered Ming-style base. The streamlined case gives generous storage on a compact footprint. Original hardware exchanged with period-correct replacement.
