A beautifully detailed Late Victorian washstand in walnut, circa 1880s, featuring an intact original marble top and elaborate incised Eastlake decoration throughout. Three drawers and one cabinet door, each front adorned with hand-incised geometric and foliate motifs — triangle devices, vine scrolls, and leaf clusters — with original brass ring pulls. The scalloped apron and shaped side panels add further period character.
The original white marble top is intact with no cracks or chips, displaying natural grey veining and patina. Structurally sound throughout, all hardware original and functioning. A versatile piece equally suited to an entry, bedroom, bathroom, or as a bar cabinet in a period or eclectic interior.
Light surface wear consistent with age. A strong standalone piece from the Eastlake period.
