Bring dramatic mid-century elegance to your space with this monumental 54-inch mixed-metal botanical wall sculpture. Highly evocative of the iconic Brutalist work of Curtis Jeré for Artisan House, this expansive 1970s piece features beautifully articulated orchid-style blossoms and flowing, organic vine tendrils.
The individual torch-cut framing, crimped metal leaves, and hand-welded flower clusters are classic signatures of the era's artisan studios. Each leaf showcases distinctive "torched" oxidation and heat-treated patinas around the edges, pulling deep, shimmering tones directly from the heavy-gauge metal.
While unsigned, its grand scale, multi-dimensional form, and exceptional craftsmanship make it an undeniable statement piece. Its sweeping organic form makes it a perfect focal feature over a sofa, sideboard, or headboard, casting dramatic shadows when catching accent light.

The metalwork is structurally solid with robust, intact welds and no missing or loose petals. The dark coloration on the petal tips is original to the piece, featuring intentional artisan torch oxidation from production. Please note that there is visible wear to the gilt finish, including a section of noticeable flaking, peeling, and finish loss on the upper curved stem loop (as shown in detail photos), exposing the darker base metal beneath. *See last photo. There is also light, age-appropriate surface pitting across other areas of the frame. This wear is typical for authentic 50-year-old metalwork and adds to its genuine mid-century character. Ready to hang. less
