A very rare Chinoiserie red lacquered veneer huge pedestal floor lamp.
This is a very special light fixture which I've not seen before.
The pedestal surround is makes a fabulous statement with a bright red color and accented with gold details, birds and Chinoiserie designs. The neck of the lamp is metal or brass sheeting. I was lucky enough to have a massive linen shade available and it fits perfectly on this piece as anything smaller would not suit this large piece. The shade has a linen or scratchy texture in a tan color and I topped it with a brass Gingko leaf finial.
It's such a wonderful conversation piece in any room.
Lamp with shade measures, 63" tall, 24"wide, 24"deep.
