Giacometti grew up on a Swiss farm close to the Italian border. He later moved to Paris and became known for his sculpture furniture that included extensive work inspired by the animals kingdom of his childhood on the farm. This set of Nest Candle Holders is from the 1980s and features a metal Faux Bois base and long stems of tree branches and Nest holders on the tops. Each has a candle spike to hold a short pillar candle
