This 1970s torchiere is a sober sculptural floor lamp. A deep white trumpet shade rises from a slender tapered stem on a weighted round base, and it bounces warm, glowing light off the ceiling for an ambient look that flatters any room. It fits easily into a living room corner, beside a reading chair, or in a bedroom that needs a soft, layered glow.
The lamp is white enameled metal throughout. It has a porcelain mogul socket and a 3-way rotary switch for low, medium, and high light, and takes a 3-way mogul bulb. The clean minimalist lines pair well with mid-century, modern, and transitional interiors alike. It is unmarked and in the manner of Lightolier.
It has been tested and works on all settings.
