## FULL DESCRIPTION
Part of our curated Emerald City Collection, this statement chest of drawers blends traditional craftsmanship with a refined, designer-forward palette. The case is finished in a deep emerald green—nearly black in low light—while the top and base are completed in our signature Old Chapel Satin Walnut, adding warmth and balance.
Each drawer front features intricate carved scrollwork and a central medallion, highlighted with restrained gold gilding applied only to the raised details, allowing the depth of the carving to remain fully visible. With an impressive 1.5-inch projection, the drawer fronts offer a level of dimensionality rarely seen in vintage case goods.
While the façade presents as a double-drawer layout, the construction is actually six full-width drawers, offering generous and practical storage. Interiors are clean, solid wood, and slide smoothly, making this piece as functional as it is visually striking.
This chest is designed to function as a true anchor piece—ideal for bedrooms, entryways, or living spaces—and pairs seamlessly with other items from the Emerald City Collection.
Companion pieces are available separately in our shop, including coordinating dressers, nightstands, and mirrors for a cohesive, designer-level interior.

Overall condition is excellent, with minor, age-appropriate wear consistent with vintage construction. The dresser is constructed of solid wood with dovetail drawer joinery, reflecting the substantial, well-built quality typical of 1970s American furniture. It is a heavy, solid piece with a strong, stable frame. The decorative elements on the drawer fronts include applied (appliqué) detailing, which appear to be a composite material consistent with the period. These elements are secure and intact, and have been carefully finished to preserve their dimensional character without obscuring detail. Drawers open and close smoothly. Interiors are clean with light signs of use. The top and edges may show very subtle surface variations visible only upon close inspection. Overall, this is a structurally sound, high-quality vintage piece that has been thoughtfully refinished to highlight its craftsmanship and sculptural presence. less
