They are colored book plates of watercolors done by Paul A Roberts. Roberts originally created the aquarelles for the Musee Oceanographique de Monaco. They have a wonderful depth of texture with rich warm color tones. They are each numbered and signed. They are clean with no age markings. While image sizes vary, each plate measures 11 x 7.75 inches. These are unusual shell images. We were fortunate to find the intact collection from an antiquarian book seller. You are purchasing a set of 2 lithographs from 1935. See companion seashell lithographs offered in our shop. See less
