Featuring a pictorial decoration on the lid depicting open fans, floral motifs, baskets, and geometric trellises in shades of gold and rust red. It features a practical, secret, pull-out drawer at the base and is embellished with period metal fittings (hinges, escutcheon, and pull handle). In excellent structural condition, with charming, natural signs of aging on the lacquer; the front lock is present, but the key is missing.
