The exterior is decorated in a vibrant polychrome palette, depicting flowering branches, peonies, and chrysanthemums alongside elegant cranes, which are traditional symbols of longevity, peace, and good fortune.

The composition is lively and balanced, with fine linework and bright enamel colors in coral, turquoise, lavender, and soft greens, all set against a clean white ground.
