We are selling this gorgeous Chinese Textile fragment. This silk embroidery is done on a purple or lavender ground with very fine embroidered figure riding a qilin with an attendant. Most likely the piece was part of or intended for a robe or altar panel. Most likely first half of the 19th Century, Daoguang period.
Condition: Good condition with some light fading and discoloration.
