This is an original 1902 botanical photograph lithograph from a French portfolio of 4 volumes of "Encyclopedie de la Plante", an “artistique” and “documentaire” collection of botanical prints, Beaux-Arts print collection. This Beaux-Arts collection was originally used for edification and research on plants from throughout the world. The botanical features the azaela. The azalea is a popular flowing plant that is found in garden landscaping. It has abundant blossoms which are loved for their vibrant color in early spring. This image captures their vibrancy!
