The piece exemplifies classic early 20th-century furniture design, featuring a distinctive arched bonnet top adorned with elegant carved finials and delicate scrolling work. The upper case presents a configuration of two smaller drawers positioned above four graduated full-width drawers, each fitted with period-appropriate brass bail pull hardware. The lower section houses a single large drawer, complemented by a carved shell motif apron. The highboy stands on graceful cabriole legs terminating in finely rendered ball and claw feet, a hallmark of the Queen Anne aesthetic.
