Unusual Japanese plant stand / side table / pedestal featuring beautifully carved Iris flowers on each side panel. Prominent Iris buds front the top of the legs whilst the side panels are iris in full bloom.
Two tone top - ebony to medium brown, the round top with shallow key fret band.
Four slender cabriole shaped legs joined by a incised disk near the bottom, with ball feet
Somewhat Art Nouveau in style with the iris.
A lovely piece suitable for many areas within the home.
Early 20th Century - 1910-1920's.
