Porcelain blotter decorated with hand-painted flowers in the classic “Saxon Flower” pattern, gilded rim, and knob-shaped handle. Origin: Denmark, Royal Copenhagen. Material: Porcelain, hand-painted. Dimensions: H. 7 cm, L. 12 cm, W. 7 cm. Period: c. 1900. Condition: 1st quality, perfect condition. Royal Copenhagen was founded in 1775 under the patronage of Queen Juliane Marie and is renowned for its hand-painted porcelain series. The “Saxon Flower” pattern, introduced in the late 18th century, was inspired by contemporary botanical engravings.
