A unique pair of artisan-made easy chairs in oak and beach, produced in Arcadia, CA in the 1960s by a lifelong admirer of Danish Modern aesthetic. With their tapered legs, sculpted arms, and forward posture, they resemble lounge chairs designed by Hans Olsen for Juul Kristiansen and Arne Vodder for Glostrup.
In a testament to their craftsmanship, both chairs remained in structurally perfect condition when we acquired them. We refinished the frames to revive the grain patterns and color and reupholstered the seats in a geometrically patterned fabric.
This one of one pair of Scandinavian-inspired lounge chairs is ready for its next generation of use.
