Set of 4 original steel engravings depicting scenes of Paris and surrounding areas. These highly detailed antique prints were part of a travel guide to Paris published in England in the early 1800s. Each print is accompanied by the original text page describing the scene (in English and French).
Shown on the prints:
Top Row: Austerlitz Bridge, Palace of the Legion of Honor
Bottom Row: St. Germain Market, Church of St. Philip of Roule
Each print measures 7 x 4.5 inches and is in excellent condition. These are original antique engravings, not reproductions.
Prints are packaged in an archival plastic sleeve with backing board and includes a certificate with additional information about the series. Ships in a flat cardboard mailer with cardboard insert for additional protection.
