Made in Japan and bearing the Neiman Marcus backstamp, the collection combines the visual drama of natural stone with the refined presentation of luxury decorative tableware.

The intricate pattern evokes the concentric bands, organic veining, and hypnotic circular formations found in natural malachite. Each piece has its own variation of the pattern, creating a coordinated collection with individual visual character. The glossy glazed surfaces enhance the depth of the green coloration, while the delicate gold edging provides a sophisticated finishing detail.

Malachite has been prized for centuries as a decorative stone, admired for its richly layered green bands and distinctive organic markings. Its influence became particularly prominent in European decorative arts, where malachite-inspired surfaces were used on furniture, boxes, objets d'art, and architectural elements to create an impression of luxury and exotic natural beauty.
