This stunning Michael Taylor for Henredon chest of drawers/dresser with cabinet is a special find. It is in the style of mid-century modern Hollywood Regency Chinoiserie with Ming style base. The chest is made of solid mahogany, and the drawers have solid brass interlocking infinity pulls recessed into the drawer fronts. The cabinet has a solid brass Asian style quatrefoil shaped plate in the center behind the leaf shaped pulls and latch above. One of the drawers has a sliding accessory tray, and the cabinet has 2 Lucite dividers inside for organized storage. The chest has the original deep cherry glossy finish with dark espresso base. It came from an extremely well taken care of estate in Southern California.
