The brass pommel top opens to reveal a compass, the lower part opening to a glass whisky flask that rises on a spring. It has a sturdy detachable Malacca tapering shaft, which comes complete with its original ferrule. It is a lovely item and as such would be appreciated by any collector of walking sticks or canes.
