Its silhouette is defined by a gently flared backrest and a low, generous seat, creating a relaxed profile grounded by four splayed, tapered legs.

The wooden structure is both structural and expressive. The arm supports extend forward in a continuous gesture, terminating in hand-shaped armrests that reveal subtle variations of carving and edge refinement. The recent refinishing has revived the depth and tonal complexity of the caviúna, allowing its grain to read clearly against the softened upholstery.

The seat and back are newly upholstered in an off-white bouclé, introducing texture and visual contrast to the warm timber frame. The upholstery follows the chair’s contours closely, emphasizing the concave sweep of the backrest and the slight upward curve of the seat. Comfort is embedded in the geometry itself: the angled back and enveloping form encourage a natural reclining posture without excess padding.
