Pair of Edward Wormley for Dunbar Y Back Captains chairs, circa 1950s. Rare rosewood examples. All original finish on the sculpted and bentwood frames. Original cane is 100% completely intact. New foam and whole grain Edelman "Malt" leather.
This scarce rosewood pair has seen little to no use and is in excellent condition. All joinery is sound and sturdy. Cane is fully intact. Frames and caning have been thoughtfully cleaned and conditioned. All new foam and leather on the seats. Brass sabots have been cleaned and lightly polished, maintaining a gorgeous patina. This set is ready for immediate installation.
