A substantial 19th-century ritual altar set, styled after the traditional Tibetan Serkyem offering vessels. This set is remarkably heavy for its size, weighing 2.4 lbs of solid cast bronze or brass with a rich gold-leaf wash. The saucer (6" diameter) and cup (3" height) feature a hand-hammered texture that provides a striking organic contrast to the luminous gilt finish.
The underside of the saucer shows authentic pitting and cooling marks from the casting process, while the "honest wear" of the gilding reveals a warm, deep patina. An exceptional find for collectors of Himalayan art or as a centerpiece for high-end global decor.
