This piece is in good but not great condition, as it's showing its age with thin scratches, but there are very few chips present, and there is no visible corrosion. Top to bottom details: Most of the following information is what was found to point out what we considered to be beyond light to normal wear for a 53 year old sink. The top of the backsplash has chips at the back where it meets the wall. They were under the caulking, thus not visible when the sink is installed. There is wear along the front edge, and the rest is good. Though we often times remove the faucets from the sinks we sell, this one was retained since it looks very good and is original. It has not seen water for a few years, so it has not been recently tested, but the knobs' movement feels correct and the stopper lever functions as it should. There is no damage, little wear, and the chrome is in fine shape without the typical pitting. What was found to point out is the fact that the ($5.00) screw on aerator is missing from the spout, and the knob caps are not present. The vertical face of the backsplash is fine, and the area running along the sides and front of the basin has wear, but no chips or other damage. The interior of the basin is in excellent condition, save for a chipped spot at the front, left of the flange. The rest is very nice from the top of the sides to the bottom. The stopper is not included, but it is inexpensive and easy to obtain. There were multiple attempts at showing the details of the sides and front, but it was impossible to get any quality pictures without a lot of glare, even with the flash off. There are scratches along the front and sides. They are not large or deep, but there are several. The bottom edge has some of the typical light chipping, but this does not stand out. The bottom is fine overall. When we acquired the sink, it was roughly painted white, so a fresh coat (of light grey) was applied to clean up the appearance. There is a little surface rust present, but corrosion is not an issue with this sink, as is evident by the lack of it around the flange. The plumbing pieces are in good condition with no damage or excessive wear. Please see the pictures for further details.
*** This piece is described in greater detail than is normally found, as the camera likes to hide blemishes with items such as this. There are pictures included with and without the use of flash in an attempt to show the details. The description is accurate to the best of our knowledge, and areas are pointed out that may look nearly flawless in the pictures. The official color is Clair De Lune Blue. The color seemed to change color with every picture angle.
