Beautiful vintage Japanese painted 4-panel silk byobu (folding screen) depicts two Samurai on horses. Signed and sealed by artist. Gouache, watercolor and ink on silk. Silk brocade border. Lacquered black wood frame. Fabric over paper and original label on back. Four standard metal hangers are included. Japan, Showa Era, circa 1950-1960s. Very Good to Good condition - some age wear overall, repairs on the 1st and 4th panels, touch-ups, losses of lacquer on the wood frame, patches and paint marks on back, strong hinges, clean.
