Inscribed on both the monument and these bookends is “HELVETIORUM FIDEI AC VIRTUTI” (To the loyalty and bravery of the Swiss). Crafted around 1930 by the renowned Jennings Brothers Company of Bridgeport, CT, they feature the company’s signature superb casting and excellent bronze finish. Each bookend measures 5" tall, 7 1/2" long, 3 1/8" wide, and weighs 3 lbs. 5 oz. (6 lbs. 10 oz. for the pair). They remain in very good original condition and bear the JB mark along with model number 1570. I love everything about these bookends!
