This Antique Art Deco Hand-Dip Black Glass Pen was part of an exhibit of Historical Reading and Writing Implements at the Cooper-Hewitt Museum (a museum of the Smithsonian) in NYC in the 1980's. It is a classic example of writing instruments of the Art Deco 1920's era. The Black Glass Dip Pen is topped by a transparent ribbed glass nib, which was dipped in ink from the inkwell. The pen is 6.0 inches long, including nib x .125 inches in diameter.
This piece is in very good antique condition with a bit of normal wear from age and use.
