The Kuiki Inn was the first … Read more Very rare Mid- Century Hotel Hana-Maui plates from Kuiki Inn (later named Hotel Hana-Maui). The Kuiki Inn was the first hotel built on the windward side of the island of Maui in the late 1940's, an area that remained largely un-touristy until the '70's. These plates were purchased in a shop in Lahaina in '73, when Stephen Stills' (from Crosby, Stills and Nash) boat was moored at Baby Beach and Linda Ronstadt was dropping in to sing at the Blue Max.

One plate has very small imperfections on the side They are 11" X 11". They were manufactured in Liverpool, Ohio of vitrified china. See less
