The fine art aquatint etching print is printed in France in 1974 by the artist Raoul Lazar in a limited edition of 75. It features a Modernist artwork image created by Lazar titled " Arc Jaune ".

This is a rare opportunity for true French Modernism, Abstraction, and Minimalism fans and collectors, as this limited edition fine art aquatint etching print is long out of print and very scarce to find. The print is hand numbered 31/75 in the lower left front corner, and is hand signed by the artist in the lower right front corner.

Raoul Lazar ( B. 1938 ) is a French Modernist artist with a focus on painting, printmaking, and artist's books born in Cholet, France. Lazar was formally trained at the Paris arts school Ecole Estienne in the 1950's. The Abstract minimalist style artworks have been widely exhibited since the 1970's. Art works by Lazar are included in the prestigious collections of The Centre Georges Pompidou Paris, The National Library of France, Paris, The Musee D'Art Moderne, Paris, The National Fund for Contemporary Art, Puteaux, and The Artotheque De L'Espace Jacques-Prevert, Mers-Les-Bains, among others.

The rare out of print framed limited edition fine art aquatint etching print measures 27 3/4" W X 35 3/8" H X 1 1/2" D.

It is custom framed with UV protective plexiglass, expertly presented in a top mounted presentation on stone gray conservation matt board, in a Contemporary Modern matte eggshell finish black wood recessed box museum style frame molding, with an attached hanging wire on the reverse back side for easy wall installation.

It is in excellent condition. The print is in excellent clean vintage condition consistent with age, light signs of handling, and some light minor wear.
