The pipe measures approx. 2 inches long, 3/4 of an inch wide and 1 3/8 inches tall. The case measures approx. 3 1/2 inches long, 2 inches wide and 1 inch thick. French, Late 19th Century. Hand carved clay pipe bowl with two horses running in a circle. Original double hinged case with functional latch. Case is lined with original purple velvet which reads, "WARRANTED GENUINE MEERSCHAUM". Very good antique condition. Shows minor wear commensurate with age and use. Screw on mouthpiece is missing. Bowl has burnt residue. See photos. Displays impressive! See less
