This vintage ornate metal frame has a wonderful antiqued (patinaed) brass finish and is typical of the mid-20th century Hollywood Regency style. The openwork metal has a dense floral and leaf pattern with ormolu accents at the corners. It is oversized, making it perfect for showcasing your favorite art piece on the wall or laying flat as a dresser vanity tray.
It has its original backer, wall hanging hardware, and glass. The brace for standing tabletop use has been removed, so it's not able to be used in that manner (see photo). Given its large size, it's most appropriate for hanging.
