This piece offers ample storage with a drawer and lower cupboard that is divided with a shelf. Old brass hardware adds character and charm. The drawer features horizontal carved accents while the center panel of the door is ornamented with rosettes. The marble has a groove around 3 sides which would have caught water spills when this piece was used as a washstand with a pitcher and bowl.
The marble shows signs of wear and use with light stains and rings as well as shallow abrasions. The surface of the wood has been waxed with Fiddes Supreme Wax in Antique Brown. If the shine dulls just buff with an old t-shirt or buffing brush. This charming cabinet could be used as a nightstand in a bedroom or as a side table in most any space in your house.
