A 19th century French earthenware pot à confit with traditional yellow ochre glaze. Rustic condition with chips and patches of missing glaze. These ordinary earthenware vessels were once used daily in the French country home and have beautiful rustic glazes of yellow, green, ochre and terracotta. Nice decorative elements especially when several sizes and shapes are grouped together. Please refer to photos for more details. Circa 1880-1900.
