The vessel is densely decorated with a vibrant "thousand flowers" or lotus scroll pattern against a deep cobalt blue ground, interspersed with delicate gold filigree accents that mimic traditional metalwork.

Strategic circular medallions break the intricate floral field, showcasing hand-painted pastoral scenes with phoenixes and songbirds perched amidst blooming peonies and plum blossoms. These panels are set against a striking sky-blue backdrop, framed by yellow-ground borders with classical key-fret patterns. The interior and the base are finished in a smooth turquoise glaze, with the underside bearing a blue-underglaze Qianlong four-character mark (乾隆御製) within a double square, signifying its tribute to the imperial style of the 18th century.
