A beautifully hand painted Japanese ceramic vase featuring a warm persimmon toned ground with black and gold enamel decoration. The design centers on a stylized bird perched among branches and leaves, rendered with elegant linework and traditional Japanese aesthetic influences. The rich earth tone palette and metallic detailing give the piece a warm, understated glow.
This unmarked example is consistent with late Meiji to early Taishō era export ceramics (c. 1900–1925), which often combined Satsuma inspired motifs with smooth, non crackle glazes. A striking decorative accent for bookshelves, consoles, or curated vignette styling.
