Charming, practical 10-piece set of canisters/lidded spice jars by Sitap (France, ca. 1970s).
Vibrant orange melamine/plastic with red French text and floral decoration.
The five larger canisters include Riz (rice), Café (coffee), Farine (flour), Sel (salt), Sucre (sugar), and the five smaller pieces/canisters include cannelle (cinnamon), poivre (pepper), paprika, curry, and an egg cup or salt well.
One of the larger lids belonging to 'Riz,' though lids are interchangeable, is damaged, and the top had previously been re-glued. One of the smaller lids is chipped, another shows a spot of loss, and there is there is fading/general wear/minor losses to the red text/imagery.
Remains a stylish set to brighten and enhance any kitchen decor.
