Lalique "Chrysis" figurine or statuette featuring a kneeling female nude leaning backward with wind-blown, wavy hair. Originally designed by René Lalique in 1931 as a hood ornament or car mascot , the piece eventually transitioned into a decorative figurine or paperweight by the mid 20th century. It is crafted from satin finished frosted crystal reflecting the iconic Art Deco style associated with the brand.
