This antique table from Italy has been designed in shapely lines and detailed carvings reminiscent of Rococo stylings. It has a serpentine shaped, black marble top (with flat backside as to allow the piece to rest snuggly against the wall), atop the elaborately hand-carved apron in a rocaille, with shell, and acanthus leaf motif. The table is presented upon four elegantly carved, cabriole style legs, with exaggerated knees that project out further than the table top. This piece has bronze/gold finish, giving it a striking contrast to the black marble.
