This antique floor quilting frame features beautifully turned posts and spindle stretchers, giving it a refined, furniture-like presence rarely seen in purely utilitarian examples. Crafted from solid wood, it was originally designed to hold quilt layers taut for hand stitching and would have served as the centerpiece of traditional quilting gatherings.
