Some even call it a witch ball. These items are handcrafted by rolling molten glass intol colored granules, creating unique, swirling patterns. This piece has orange, red and yellow in it. the stnad is a rustic patina. The total height is 9" and the width and depth is 5". The size of the orb is 5x5". It was made in the 1950's. However the original ones were made in Europe over 200 years ago. Now days these orbs are used as Christmas ornaments. They are also great as sun-catchers. I found ths wonderful set in an antique store in Las Vegas, NV. See less
