A delicate set of three graduated ceramic scallop shell dishes by Otagiri, Japan's beloved mid-century tableware atelier. The soft blush-to-white glaze mimics the natural color gradient of a found shell with quiet precision — these are the kind of pieces that look like they were collected from a Mediterranean shore rather than a shop shelf.
Use them nested together as a sculptural centerpiece, or spread across a tablescape as individual serving dishes for olives, salts, or jewelry. Three sizes — one large, two smaller — offering natural versatility.
Time Period: c. 1960s–1980s
Origin: Japan — marked Otagiri
Design Style: Coastal / Japanese Ceramic / Shell Motif
Condition: Excellent — glaze pristine, blush gradient vivid
Set: 3 pieces — 1 large, 2 smaller
