A striking still life composition that centres on a blue wooden chair rendered with bold clarity, its angular structure anchoring the scene, and executed in oil onto board and dated 1978.

Resting on the seat are three rounded green fruits, their placement both casual and deliberate. Behind, a partially opened window shutter introduces a sense of space and atmosphere, suggesting filtered daylight entering an otherwise enclosed interior.
