A fine antique Austrian Biedermeier cherry wood library display cabinet, bookcase, circa 1840.
The cabinet is made from very attractive blond cherry wood, applied to the cabinet in a chevron design. The bookcase having a stepped crown to the top, below are twin glazed doors, enclosing three tempered glass shelves.
The base of the cabinet is fitted with a long single drawer, having the original cast bronze pulls, the library cabinet is raised on stile feet.
The secondary woods are white pine: both the drawer linings and the back panel.
The cabinet is in excellent antique condition, original warm honey colored finish. This very attractive antique is ready to grace your home, office or library!
