This is a spectacular one of a kind piece of art glass!!! Purchased in an art gallery in Eureka Springs, Arkansas, in the early 1990s. It was only used as a decorative art piece/sculpture.
It is a very large oval hand-crafted glass platter by master glass blower and artist Harry Stuart for RPM Studios. A bright acid green (almost like Vaseline glass in opaqueness) freeform wavy platter with striping and elongated dark dots on the underside. Affixed to one side is a blown glass banana (actual size) in yellow--realistically rendered. The bottom is signed with an etching "RPM STUDIOS!"
Again, this is a very large piece. Measures 20 x 12 1/2 inches. A real masterwork!!!
