This is a fabulous two-piece ceramic vase designed by Alessandro Mendini for Superego Editions, 4 Mani Collection and decorated by Linde Burkhardt. It is from a series of six two-piece vase designs, each limited to just 99 pieces. This one is numbered 5 of 99. It is marked and numbered on the underside of the collar piece and come with the original tag.
The design features a conical shaped black vase with a flat oval shaped collar that slips over the vase structure. See photos. It is a very unique and intriguing design.
The vase measures 14" tall, and 6" across at its widest. The oval shaped collar measures 16" long and 7" across at its widest.
The piece will be shipped with two pieces separated and wrapped individually.
The piece is in excellent overall condition with no apparent chips or cracks.
